I was treated to A Fiesta Red Squire 50s Classic Vibe for my 41st Birthday from my wonderful wife, I always wanted to learn to play the guitar but never really took the steps needed. I started playing after being advised by my Neurologist that it would help keep my so called brain more active and help with the tremors, I don't expect to be any good at playing but for me, there is nothing more rewarding that putting the chords you just learned into practice by playing a song. I have been playing for about 9 months now and for the first Time yesterday I managed to complete Apache from start to finish, ok there were mistakes but WOW what a wonderful feeling! I am no expert but this Squire 50s Classic Vibe is an awesome guitar and has made me want to learn to play even more. Also a big thanks to this site for the help and inspiration from all of you!

Hi Dave, You could not get a better introduction to a guitar than the 50s CV (in my opinion). I have played lots of different guitars over the past 50 years and these guitars certainly take some beating. Keep up the playing and as you learn more tunes you will find it gets easier. Could I suggest Theme for Young Lovers as your next number as I think you will find it quite easy to learn. Congratulations on learning your first tune Best regards, Maurice.

I completely agree, best feeling in the world is holding my kids for the first time and holding my CV 50'S Strat. The wife thinks I love the guitar more than her? I am afraid to reply as I hate pain!!!
