Hello I have a question, please ...how is possible to attach a pic on a new thread? this was easy until a few years ago, but now the only option to put a photo is to copy and paste the Image URL from a site there is not any option saying "Add Attachment" sorry for my stupid question, but I'd like to insert an image when I post new recordings Best Regards Salvo

Hi Salvo,
If you use the 'quick reply' box at the bottom of a thread then you are right, there is no 'Add attachment' option.
If you want to add an attachment you still can if you use the 'Reply' button at the top right of the thread. The 'add attachment' option is also available when you 'quote' another post.

Hi Bill Thanks...but I don't see nothing I tried to create a new thread, but no any option about attachment I don't know Best Regards Salvo I think Sal is correct Bill, this is what I see when I click on Quote on Sal's last post, there is only insert image not an add attachment button or tab. I get the same if I click on Reply and not quick reply so maybe it was lost in the last forum update and is only available to admins and mods ? @ Sal, maybe you will have to use something like Photobucket for now, as I have done here

I seem to recall that Charlie asked that no photos be attached to posts, as the forum does not have the space. So perhaps the option to do so has now been removed. One has to upload photos to Photobucket or similar, then paste the image link to posts here.

I never use the "Insert Image" icon, can't see the point when you can just paste the picture URL in the message area.

I did remove the feature as most of the available space has been used. I thought it best to allow anything that had already been attached to remain

Sal, it takes a bit longer as you have to upload the picture first but it will give you something to do in all that heat Phil
