Elsewhere on this board is a thread about Airhostess (Kay) who has been 'missing' for a while and it's good to know she's OK.
By the same token does anyone know what's happened to Julian (Somebodyelseuk)? He was a regular and frequent contributor to the site and I always enjoyed reading his posts but he hasn't posted since 12 October.
Julian, if you're reading this it would be good to know that all is well with you.
Cheers.
Tony

I had also been wondering why Julian had not posted lately. I hope he is OK and that there is good news soon.

I also noticed "Grip" hasen't been on for a while now, but he is "lurking" on site. I sent him a PM some time ago but no answer yet. so if you read this Chris let us know if you want to.

Hi Mike, Just coming toward the end of a long rest from posting (but not reading) on all forums (or is it fora?). I thought I'd replied to your pm when I replied to others on 28th Nov, my apologies that on checking I hadn't. I'll be around in the not too distant future. I've not done much playing either so I need to loosen the digits and harden up my fingertios before recording again, I have prepare a BT "ready to go" for when I'm ready. A merry Christmas to all, "see" you soon. Kind regards, Chris

Hi Tone,
Just got a reply ten minutes ago. He's fine, he said he'd just been pretty busy learning some new stuff etc. and that he'll be back shortly. At the moment he's staying with his parents.
I noticed your post had gone off on a right tangent too.
Cheers,
Len

Hi Len
Many thanks for the post and your PM. I'm very pleased that Julian's OK and I look forward to him posting again.
It's always a bit worrying when someone who is a regular and frequent contributor 'disappears' without warning!
Cheers.

We might also ask, where's Chris (Grip) he's not been around for over six months, I know he logged on a few months ago, I have emailed him and sent him a PM but have had no reply?

"I noticed your post had gone off on a right tangent too." I apologise for any part I played in sending your thread into a right tangent. Didn't seem too much off the subject to ask about the well being of another member. I'll try not to be so reckless in future. Regards, Duncan.

Hi Duncan
No problem - your question was a natural extension of mine. I particularly noticed Julian's absence because I always find his posts interesting even though technically they're sometimes over my head! That doesn't mean to say, though, that I don't find others' posts interesting as well!
Cheers.

Very glad to see Julian and Chris are both ok and just taking a break. I've missed them both too and have always enjoyed their posts and they have both given me lots of help too which I am very grateful for.
Best wishes Rosemary

Hiya... Just back from a couple of weeks away. All good here. I'm touched that I seem to have been missed. Apologies for not posting for a while. Electronics have never been my strong point, so I've been doing a bit of reading up. Been experimenting with the pickups on my Jazzmaster - wiring/magnet mods - and acquired a Jaguar which I'm in the middle of wiring as per the 'Johnny Marr model'... the next 'project' will be a real 'doozy' if I can get the bits together - thank Eric for the well known auction site 'In other news', my Dad did a 'solo + backing tracks' gig for his archery club Christmas do last week... ...Tell you what, it takes bottle to do those kind of things. Proud of the old guy! Anyhoo, hope everyone's well round here. Keep on plucking. Cheers, Julian
