I spotted a new echo unit in Guitarist magazine while browsing in Smiths, forgive me but I cannot remember its name, but its based round a special tape cassette including digital soft ware, looked very interesting.

Yes, your right Didier, its expensive at over $700, I would sure like to hear it. The earlier valve model is around $1,200 ! But keep in mind that's a single echo unit, so not fully suitable for multiple echoes as needed for an early years Marvin's sound... Didier

If you are considering this imho for what its worth from the online reviews I have seen or listened to and having owned and used a s/s Echoplex for years I think the Catlinbread Belle Epoch is very hard to beat for that sound and nowhere near the price of this new Fulltone. Regards David

I seem to have quoted the wrong echo machine, Its a T-REX REPLICATOR, Priced at $799. Its a hybrid echo unit using an analogue tape cassette coupled to digital soft ware. Sounds interesting.
