Hi all,
I need some help. I recently purchased a Quadraverb Q2 (factory reset, no user patches) and hoped to install EFTP from Charlie. Alas, I now know Charlie does not sell or install the patches anymore. I have seen shadows patches created elsewhere on the well known auction site but given copyright issues, etc. I am dubious about purchasing, are they a good alternative to Charlie's? How do I get patches on to the Q2 (software I have looked at does not run on windows 7 or 8).
Any help regarding the above would be appreciated.
Many thanks, Mark.

Stec Records dump tool should work to transfer files. www.stecrecords.com/?RecordId=372You will need a midi interface to connect the Q2 to the computer. There are interfaces available that will connect the Q2 midi port to a USB port on the PC. There used to be one doing the rounds on permanent loan to members of this board but not sure if that is still available. I think it was a Roland product and that some of the cheaper versions didn't work.

There are free patches for the Q2 on the internet. Google for jpatches to find them. They do not have the quallity of EFTP, but they are better than nothing imho.....
