Hi all, Just back from a wonderful open air concert of this absolutely extraordinary fellow I'm still impressed. It's unbelievable how much beautiful and great songs are penned by him and with which power he still performs them. I find better than ever! In case someone is interested I found an interview to the current tour here www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iPp0mQvfb4Cheers, Bernie

Hi Matthew, Yeah "Little Arrows" is a very nice song and was his first big hit. One of his greatest hits "One Moment In Time" was covered by the Shadows in 1989 on their "Steppin' to the Shadows" album. Cheers, Bernie

Just a little endorsement concerning to the Shadows and Albert Hammond. On the 1990 "Reflection" album the Shadows covered his song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now". Just another of his numerous #1 hits which was - in the version of "Starship" (Jefferson Airplane) - 1988 nominated for the oscar, golden globe and grammy. Regards, Bernie

Hi Bernie,
Thanks for posting this, I found it absolutely fascinating. What a humble guy and total gentleman. I remember buying his single (still have it) Free Electric Band, great song. I wasn't aware he had written so many hits spanning decades. His songs could be a big part of everyone's, 'soundtrack of their lives'. A supremely talented man.
Regards
Kevin

Hi Kevin, I quite agree - ever since I can remember I was accompanied by his music. In the last years I realized how much songs he wrote and how much influence he had on the music scene over the last five decades. 'The Free Electric Band' is a really rocking song which - I'm quite sure - inpired a lot of people. His 1972 song 'The Air That I Breathe' was also recorded by the Shadows 1975 for their album 'Specs Appeal' - released as a b-side on a single. The track was in the drawer untill it was finally released - as bonus track - on the 1992 remastered version of 'Tasty' re-titled 'More Tasty' as well 2004 on 'Specs Appeal/Tasty'. A newer version of the song was recorded with Albert Hammond and Cliff Richard for the 2010 album 'Albert Hammond Legend'. Regards, Bernie
