Hello all.
I am selling my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and my Rokit 5 monitors which i use with my Yamaha magicstomp with excellent results. Trouble is i have new Lenovo desktop all in one with built in Dolby home theatre speakers and sub but i cannot use this with my Yamaha and this is the problem as everytime i want to play the guitar i have to enable the Scarlett and disable the on board sound card and visa versa if i need the onboard system which then means rebooting the pc.So hence the decision to sell both and buy an amp and i was hoping for some suggestions for an amp that will go well with the Magicstomp,i do not want Vox valvetronic had one did not like.Any suggestions will be appreciated second hand is fine.

Hi Roy, Just a few weeks ago I got my new AC4C1-12 (with 12" celestion speaker) which is a fairly new one that costs around £60,- more than the 10" speaker version: www.voxamps.com/ac4c1-12The amp has a rich and full sound (4W class A) and I'm very pleased with it - highly recommended! Regards, Bernie

Hi Roy,
Just out of curiosity what was the chain of your devices in your old setup and what will be the new one?

Hello. At the moment it is Fender style guitar,i say Fender style as its different bits and pieces inc Kinman impersonator 54 pick ups. That goes into The Magicstomp which goes into the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 which feeds the active KRK Rokit 5 speakers a sound I recommend, but as I explained it causes me a bit of hassle but if I don't sell this lot its not the end of the world. This is one reason I cancelled Charlies new thingy as he was unsure it would work at its best. Roy

Hi Roy,
I use a Fender Mustang iii v2 (100w). Works great for home use and recording, and have even used it in a venue for 350 people without being mic'd. I use it with a Magicstomp, but its also great to add pedals and effects to compliment the MS eg Compressor. Good luck, Geoff

Hi Roy,
It seems that VOX is the holy grail and I thought so too. But recently I bought a Fender Champion 40 and belief it or not, it has a great sound. I had an AC30, AC 15 TV HW and they were all much to heavy for my back, so I sold them. With the Champion 40 I can play at home and it is loud enough to rehearse with my band. The only thing I did was swap the original speaker, which not bad, for a Jensen Falcon 50.
I hope this helps,
Kind regards, Emiel
