and then press the LISTEN NOW button and wait for the player to load.
Time: Sunday 9 - 11pm US Pacific Standard Time (GMT - 8), so Monday 5 - 7 am in the UK (ouch, that's early!), 12 - 2 pm in Perth....
If you would like a dedication or a request e-mail me at: kaydasATmac.com (replacing AT with @)
Hope to hear from you!

I can vouch for the high standard of show with a good mix of various styles and types of music that our new resident DJ hosts, as I managed to record most of it, from around 5.40am to 7am on Monday morning. I would have recorded it all if I had not forgotten it was on and had to get out of bed and come downstairs to switch my computer on to record it Hopefully I will remember it is on and manage to record the whole of it next Sunday night in the USA and Monday morning here in the UK

Thank you, Sandra.
Some of the artists to be featured on 20 September: Hank Marvin, Les Paul, The Rolling Stones, Mark Knopfler, and many more. - The last few shows we featured vocals from George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and John Lennon successively. Your guess on the featured artist this time? - And continuing on from previous shows we will devote a section to instrumentals from a particular country. Last week we featured Spain.

Arrrgh, I sent you an email earlier pleading with you to not do a show based around Ringo as I had enjoyed the previous three Kay I am sure you will pick the better ones such as "Act Naturally" if you must include Ringo though Looking forward to listening to the tomorrow's show later in the week as I will be recording it while I am asleep

Hey Kay - will you also consider playing material from new 'unsigned' instrumental composers? Broadly in the same genre - guitar instrumentals?
Thanks and best,
Tony

I have only had time to listen to the first 45 minutes so far but am enjoying it as usual Kay I heard "Act Naturally" and "I only have Eyes For You" from what I remember from your short list, hope to listen to the rest of the show later this week I am using this program to record it and it shuts down my computer after whichever duration I set so I usually have it starting 5 minutes before your show and shutting down 15 minutes after, in case you forget to look at the time Streaming Audio

Thank you so much for sharing the recording audio, Sandra. Good to hear you enjoyed the " Act Naturally" dedication to you. I usually over-run by 15 to 20 minutes. I have studio time until 12 pm, but I do not use it all as it gets rather late for me to get home..and late also for some listeners in the US.
I went to the Mark Knopfler concert in LA the evening before and it was wonderful. As you may know, he cites Hank as one of his greatest influences.
Take care,
Kay

I am honoured beyond words! Kay / Ian - I tried to record last week to no avail and listened to the second half of the show whilst driving to work on Monday morning! Would it - is it even - possible to send me a file with the recording??
Thanks for your support gentlemen.

This one is the free version Kay : Free Online Audio RecorderHope you manage it this week Ian If you had said something earlier I could have sent you my recording Tony but I have deleted it, but if you, or anyone else wants it then send me a message with your email address and I can send you it via Wetransfer I keep meaning to ask you Kay, I do not know if it is my setup or not but the music comes through loud and clear but I sometimes struggle to hear your good self as it sounds a little muffled. Has anyone else mentioned it to you ? The music is good though and I like how you often follow a vocal version with the instrumental or vice versa

Ok I have got streaming audio recorder set for recording your show for 2.5 hours from 5 minutes before your scheduled start time Kay. I just have to remember to go to your radio link and then not to switch the computer off when I go to bed, and keep my fingers crossed that my internet connection doesn't do anything silly, as I have promised to send the recording to Tony when I get up I thought maybe it was a mic setting or something Kay, as I do not think it is anything that you are doing wrong

I recorded it OK Kay but I missed the last couple of minutes of the Stones that you were playing out to after you said you were signing off, as had set it to do two and a half hours and started to record the show just under 5 minutes before you were scheduled to start. Thanks for the mention, your voice was coming through much clearer this time, so whatever you changed or did seems to have sorted it out I sent the recording off to Tony and Ian, so that makes at least 3 listeners on this side of the pond but Tony is a lot further away from me than Ian is, so you are spanning the globe

No worries, Sandra. There is always so much music to play. I can go on till 12 pm but it gets rather late getting home which is 14 miles away so I try to wind up sooner and it got a little later than usual yesterday, sorry. It also takes a little bit of time to re-set the broadcast to "automatic" mode as there is no "live" show following mine until the morning. I did hear from Ian and will reply soon and I hope Tony will have got your recording in case he could not listen real time. i also heard from ***** ***** (composer of "Windsong of Tahiti") and a great musician whom I have met in Devon, along with Rachel Dickson, a few years ago, amongst several others from the US. Nice.
Thanks for the support. i will be in the UK 10 to 18th october, but it will not be long enough to come visiting your neck of the woods this time.
Kay
PS: I did get the marbles out of my mouth this time. Seriously, though, the board is an old Harris one with no processing for the mic channel. I could do with some compression but in its absence I turned the gain up a little last night. American voices are usually quite resonant and the studio has several other deejays but no one else seems to have the same problem. They will update the studio soon, I hear.

Hey Kay - thanks a million for playing 'Metropolis' on your show last weekend - Sandra kindly sent me the file of the show. I listened to every minute of it last night and it is a really good show! I am going to investigate how I can record it too - but getting internet connection down here isn't the simplest thing to do. Loved the Tahiti segment.
It looks like expats week in the UK - I travel there tonight until 13th to go and see family in the Midlands and Newcastle!! Thanks again and safe travels...
PS - the tracks I sent you still have to be mastered - I would like to send you my album from 2012 - please message me with a shipping address or one in the UK you can collect from this week perhaps?
Best always
Tony

The show will be back this Sunday, 25th October. Scroll back all the way up to re-visit details of how to log in etc. in red font. This week's featured vocalist will be Cliff Richard, the old boy just celebrated his 75th birthday. I was in London last week, but unable to go see his concerts. I will also be featuring tracks by forumites Tony Lowther, Ian Plant, Charles Campbell, and of course, The Shads. Do not forget to record the show if it airs at an ungodly hour where you live. Use the following free app to record (which Sandra has thoughtfully sent): www.apowersoft.com/free-audio-recorder-onlineKay

Some additional information (some repeated from earlier posts on this thread)
• If you are listening on an iPhone or Android, you may download the app from www.live365.com • If the show is at an ungodly hour where you live you may download the following free app to record it (thanks to Sandra) : www.apowersoft.com/free-audio-recorder-online. (You set the start time and duration and it does the rest!) • Remember clocks in the UK go back an hour this weekend but not yet in the USA (next week). Google the Internet for information regarding other countries.
