Hi Everyone, Happy New Year from all the team at the Jet Harris Memorial Fund! We are delighted to be able to start the new year with the good news that we have just sent a further cheque for £3000 to Cancer Research UK. This brings the total donated so far to £23,125. Thank you so much to all who have helped us to raise this fantastic amount!! Just to remind you - everything we donate is “restricted”, which means that the money can only be used for research into cancer of unknown primary and is given in memory of Jet. We would like to take this opportunity also to pay tribute to Michael Knott, who sadly passed away last year. Michael was a great friend of Jet’s from his childhood, when they went to school together. He was also an ardent supporter of the Jet Harris Memorial Fund and he helped at its inception by sponsoring the website. This photo of Mike with Jet was taken by Janet (Hemingway) in Jet’s garden at his cottage on the Isle of Wight. He is greatly missed. We are very grateful to everyone who has supported the Fund in any way and we very much hope that you will continue to help in the future. It would be wonderful if we could reach a figure of £25,000 donated in memory of Jet!! Thank you again and we hope that you will have a very happy 2018! With best wishes, Janet, Audrey, Barry, David, Justin and Rob

Thanks for your kind replies Ian, Val and Peter. Ian ... yes, happy times.
Also ... Just to add that we have now received a letter of thanks from Trudy Stammer at Cancer Research UK. Trudy says that she is “really blown away” by all the incredible fundraising at the Jet Harris Memorial Fund. She has asked me to make sure to pass on their thanks to "all the Shadows fans that helped to make all of this possible" and she says, “We promise to make it count”. Thank you all once again.
Best wishes Audrey

Hi Audrey,
£23,125 is a super achievement a testament to how much Jet is missed by all. It's nice to get recognition for the Jet Harris Memorial Fund contributions, and that there's a promise to "make it count". Good luck with all further fund raising.
Kind regards,
Chris
