Cakewalk is defunct and is now controlled by Bandlab. I am beginning to use it and found it interesting. Has anyone been using it?
I have only one problem...my computer does not have a good sound card with a synth software included. So when I am manipulating the program and reproducing midi tunes, it will pick up the one that Microsoft use. And it is called 'Microsoft Gs WavTable synth'- a very old synth emulator. There is also a synth in Cakewalk called Cakewalk-TTS1, that can be inserted on the fly.
The problem is that I cannot include that last one, in the midi in or midi out parameters. (The only one is the Microsft GS...and it is grayed out, meaning one cannot include the TTS-1).
Has anyone been using CAKEWALK by Bandlab and found a solution??
It seems that I will to have to get an external sound midi module, that will allow this to be done.
Any tips would be welcomed from any one of you that can help me out!

Cakewalk Bandlab wanted me to update my Sound card drivers and asked about My windows 10 version. So I complied and sent back the answers. Still same problem, will let you know about any more good news. Sheendigs
