For anyone who missed it or can not get BBC iPlayer this is the BBC 4 documentary which was on a few days back about the story of Rock Island Line and how it and it's genre influenced the British music industry Rock Island LineThis will be available for 7 days from now.

Thanks Sandra, your a gem! I watched it, and as always...no mention of our heroes in any form or shape. No railroaders(which would fitted nicely in line about the title song of this documentary)and of course the famous line....'British bands like Beatles,Stones,Zeppelin etc' all started playing skiffle. The phrase Hank once said "taped on the knee with a mallet and thrown of a cliff" springs in mind...regarding those pillocks of 'music journalists'.
Oh well I know I will salute the shads, even after my passing,with a few tunes on my funeral...

Did you not hear that interesting bit around 50 minutes in Rob ? Someone suggested that that young guitarist should go to London as he was quite good
