Here in Holland one famous band did the same(Within Temptation)I know different arena... They said, always the same reliable sound in every venue, with the amps it was always a gamble...how the room react and the sound that remains was not always the one we wanted. In that light it's convenient to use a Kemper, in the studio it's a other case. Maybe Mark will keep using a genuine amp for recordings, who know. Cheers Rob

Yes, you can tell, ha ha, it’s not the sound he has had in the past in my opinion, lacking tonal quality. I have no doubt these Amps have there place but if you backtrack Knophler playing the same number using other Amps you will here the difference, my opinion tho. Cheers pete

I have watched this several times now and have to agree with pete(shawbridge) I know youtube degrades audio quality but the same number played on youtube sounds so much better than this. I appreciate also different recordings of the same number will rarely be the same. Mark looks a bit uncomfortable for some reason, almost like he is finding his way around and old familiar friend and unsure of himself at times. I hope he is in good health.
Regards, Tim.

Hi, I will find out for sure, Some of Mark’s relatives are regulars at our Shadowland Gigs and John R, is one of my client in my line of work. I will just get John to ask him direct. Cheers Pete
