Hi all, I came across this band "THE SLEEPWALKERS" about 5 years ago,and it occurs to me that I know very little about them. If I were to guess I would say they are Scandinavian. Essentially I think they are an all Fender line-up,but I do know they use semi-acoustic as well. Their "sound" is reminiscent of the "FINISH" band "THE SOUNDS". To me it seems like they may be using VOX Longtom's. They sound just as good LIVE as they do recorded. I would really appreciate it if our Scandinavian friends on HERE,can shed some light on the ORIGIN'S of this wonderful sounding band, and maybe give me some information about them. I am leaving a couple of LINKS to TWO tracks from their album "THE SLEEPWALKERS" FIRST ROUND. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCVQNL6mwas "THE TRAIL" www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSgdTuDS9BI "MR Z" Steph.

To me, their sound is tended more towards the Spotnicks Sound, this is not a negative but not the Shadows sound to me. They sound like a good band👍 Peter

Their sound is excellent, a kind of mixture of Shadows and Spotniks, the Echo sounds like a long Tom as Steph said. There are quite a few bands in Scandinavia I have not heard of such as, Any one heard of the 'Quiets' and another the 'Vikings'

Peter, the sleepwalkers do have a lovely sound. On a lot of the videos on YouTube they are using "Roland Space Echo's". I have a couple "QUIET'S" Albums they are one of my favorite bands. Watch the Quiet's LEAD GUITARIST,Sam Saarva "EFFORTLESS" guitar playing on the "FENTONES" arrangement "THE BREEZE AND I".. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzQZAvpALWsSteph.
