Obviously an excellent guitarist, but for me, it was just a lot of notes

Isnt that the widest neck in the World? Got bored after a minute and a half - a tune to nowhere. Very clever pinch harmonics though - but SO many! Uan

Yes
Stanley Jordan played with Chet Atkins.
Stanley did most everything just on the neck, two handed tapping style. Mostly jazz standards. Quite an amazing guy.
Played the guitar neck like a piano. Sometimes played two guitars at the same time with each hand. One on a standard strap one on a special support. Extraordinary stuff!!

Michael Angelo Batio springs in mind with his two neck guitar for left and right hand at the same time... Although very difficult and a impressive technical abilities, I'm getting bored out of my scull after e few minutes. I've listen the hole tune, but I'm not inspired to watch a second one.... Despite this girl is much more easier on the eyes then Hank or Tommy Emmanuel , I can watch both all night long with their solo's of minutes long, that are going somewhere! Cheers Rob

I agree with solos going somewhere alright. So many are polished too bright. Better to be searching for the next phrase.... The pentatonic is always there to get out of jail free if you're getting lost....
