i would love to see Vox follow the current trend and make an ac30 in a lunchbox style amp like the Victory VC35. I think it would be a huge seller

For closer inspection and listening here is a comparison between different classic VOX Sounds to show the sonic differences of different settings and channels with typical guitar models and speakers: Kind regards, Bernie

Hi Bernie, what a good versatile amp.
Thank goodness I’ve got all the amps I will ever need though, as this one looks as though it will be very expensive. That said it could save a lot of space. (Did anyone find the price list?)
I liked the ef86 tone it produced, however I am looking forward to Charlie’s new unit, due out “soon”, which promises to complete the palette of tones I need and fit easily into my setup. This leads to another thought, the Redstuff amp seems to needs a bit of knob twiddling to get to the different sounds. This is ok for studio recordings but in a live situation a change of sound needs to be at the click of a button on an effects pedal.
Cheers
Mick

Hey Mick, Cheers for your reply. I understand your point of view and I quite agree - it's a good versatile amp. Every single amp is custom build to order so that individual solutions - such as changing the sound with a click of a button - basically are possible. Amongst the facebook contributions from Redstuff Amplification the amp is priced at 3000,-€. Kind regards, Bernie
