Hi all Here in Grimsby we have had 3 or 4 inches of snow. I've just spent the last hour or so trying to get the man from Tesco out of the drive. He was delivering to my daughter just up the road and came down our drive by mistake. My son in law and me ended up digging and pushing before we eventually got him turned round and on his way. Has anyone else had any incidents or are you all basking in the sun without an ounce of snow in sight. Whilst I've been writing this the weather forecast has been on in the background and they are predicting more heavy snow for Lincolnshire. Don't think I'll be playing golf tomorrow. Regards Les

No chance of a round of golf in Durham tomorrow either Les ;D ;D We've had around 12" ( a lot more in the more exposed areas ) so far with more on its way tonight. Unusually we had "Thunder Snow" last night, really strange having thunder & lightning during a snow shower, first time I can remember this happening in the UK Looks like were stuck with this cold spell for another week or so, although the worst of the snow seems to have passed us & is now heading "down country" Enjoy the "white stuff" Cheers Dick

Hi Les. Not snowing in Boston at the moment, but we have had a fair few heavy flurries throughout the day. Main roads are fairly clear but the minor roads are awful. Cheers. Neil

Hi Neil/John
Neil I hope you don't have far to travel tomorrow the weather forecast has a thick white cloud hanging over the both of us.As for John you just can't appreciate your good weather if you don't have a bit of snow now and again.
I bet the local yacht club looks great in the snow (but I'm not going out to have a look).

Some snow last night and again this afternoon here in Cambs. Most of last night's melted from what I could see, there is a fairly thin layer right now. Gouing out in a minute to see if I can drive up the slight hill out of my road! Regards, Charlie

Hi Les
Had my fill of snow last year over in Lima Ohio, had to help my mate clear a path to his office which had 3 feet of the stuff in front of the door. Then the snow plough would drive past and fill the space again. I'll have sunshine any day LOL Think of Charlie, unless he hoofs it out he's going to starve. Not sure what the temps are over in Hoadlie land, probably choking in dust where he lives, no doubt he'll come on line shortly, probably asleep in his shed LOL Big night......... fixing something up
Regards John

Hi everyone, Well here in Toronto we are expected to get 40mm of rain today and temperatures around 12c, usually we have already had a good dumping of snow but I guess you guys have stolen it all, I am not complaining :-)
Needless to say north of Toronto in Barrie and further north got 25cm of snow a few days ago, and out west it is pretty d**n cold, -15 to -25c, which we will see in February. Ottawa and Montreal will be much colder.
All the best Steve Toronto

Hi all, Just when I thought we had missed the worst of the snow this is what we woke up to this morning. We couldn't get the cars out of the drive so me and the wife had to walk to the local shop for one or two things. There was only the odd car that passed us and others were stuck down the side roads. Still there were plenty of people about, all walking as we were.It was quite nice to see so many people out wakling. It's a pity we don't do more of it when the weather is good instead of jumping in our cars. Still thats modern living for you. Regards Les Attachments:
