I am sure I had answered this question before but a search has not found it. EF86 channel for the early Shadows tunes. Top Boost channel for later Hank and Shadows tunes (from around 1963 on, Foot Tapper, Shindig etc.). EF86 channel. Set the 4 way switch for bass cut as the brilliance switch did on the original AC15 (explained in the manual). Set the cut control for high notes that are not too sharp sounding. Top Boost channel, the same way as any other Vox with Top Boost. Keep the treble control below halfway and use the cut control to keep the highs from sounding too brittle, set the bass to balance the tone. For the Burns sound, use full bass, or nearly full bass (this reduces mids above around 3/4 setting) and turn the treble up if neccessary to balance the tone between bass and treble. If there are triode/pentode switches (I don't remember if the Heritage or some other model has these but I remember answering this before!), set them to pentode. If I have missed anything let me know! Regards, Charlie

Charlie - I think you will find it is the thread AC15/G7, which I have transferred from the Archive.

Hi Kevin, Thanks, I used the word Heritage in the search but it didn't bring up the thread for me. Regards, Charlie
