Hi Bill, I was thinking the ad content might be similar to the spam messages (mainly women) we were sometimes getting on the old site! Thanks for adding the lines. Not sure what you mean by the "Post Message" part. All I see below the main title and 3 text lines in blue, is a box that contains alerts to PM's, which I find useful. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie, Really? In the box below the three lines of blue text on the main page I see 'Charlie Hall & Friends' then the alert to PM's (which could be removed but I also find it useful), then on the next line but still inside the box and below the 'Charlie Hall & Friends' title I see an indication of where I am in the - ahem - 'forum' [Now not only do I have the problem about forums/fora but I need to think of another general name for this place ] which is the bit I was saying could be removed if you like. Finally, still in the same box, below the PM alerts is the date and time. Anyway, it's obviously not bothering you and I only mentioned it because I came across a way to remove it in the ProBoards support site when I was looking for something else.

Hi Bill, I think I see what you mean now, I see the words "post message" only when I am typing a message. I thought that the words in black that indicate where you are on the site are useful because sometimes I am reading a thread and then finding myself trying to remember where I am, and it is there to remind me. I am not sure I am understanding whether or not there is something else you don't like. Is it the name General that you don't like? If so, I had been wondering about whether that should be changed to a different name. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie & All,
I really like the new headline, 'does what it says on the tin'.
Regards, Tim.
