Hi ,it was created by a man called John Stallard, and he has a web site for his studio ,Cubby Hole Studios. He told me that there was going to be an arrangement where the track was sold by Leos Den .As an aside,he was recording another track with the same player, which is on the cubby hole site,an arrangement of a Justin Hayward track. If you come to Warwick Shadows Club,John is a member there, and John does preview some of his projects on there site,Strat21 Geg Palmer

Was really good to see you Charlie, and to hear the echo unit, but the bit that interested me was what was the amp/,is this a new project/.Did you design and build it ?, and do you have plans to make them.Regards Strat21

HI Baz truly, we both thought that it was good, but what we saw in London was excellent. And the sound was incredible,no thunderous bass, and the guy who played Frankie Valli had a really great voice. Regards Strat21

HI Baz,yes some good performances, but occasionally ruined by a sound man (you cant call him an engineer),who believed that all we came to hear was a bass drum and a bass guitar,of the backing. We have seen the show 4 times including last nights performance, and she who must be obeyed and I thought that this was the B team, the A team are in London. We also noticed some differences,we thought the script a little more graphic in its use of language,a lot more swearing than we remembered, but the songs still sound great, with soaring harmonies that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.IF you can ,see the London show,if not catch this touring show, and if you can do neither then take a look for a show called New Jersey Nights, because when we saw it it was as good as the touring Jersey Boys.Regards Strat21

Hi Ian if you look on Xhefri site on the web,the switch seems to be Fenders answer to the Holy Grail. The only thing it doesn't do is make the tea.I would now really like to see one of theses guitars and try it out, to see if its as versatile as they say .Still,a lot of what I would call the serious pro,s who play Strats,a good proportion play Plus,s .

I stand corrected,it does look like a Strat Ultra, something I have not encountered before. However,a quick look on Xhefri,s guitars and one pops up with flick switch, but sited below the second tone pot not above, nearly in line with the 3 way. However hairsplitting part still a good guitar at a good price. If you don't want it tell him to advertise on Charlies site, and maybe if I can sacrifice to the god called She who must be obeyed, I can have it for Christmas

I have never seen a mod of this nature on a Strat before, however Fender are a law unto themselves, sometimes to their own detriment.I think the guitar is the same as a friend of mines, same configuration of pick ups and controls apart from the switch. His guitar is possibly the best player I have tried, and in a 50 plus year addiction,I have tried loads.I have tried to buy it loads of times, but he loves it too.I personly think it is an addition, perhaps others on the site can say for sure

If the original case is with it,£600 is a fair price for what I think is a STRAT plus, although I am not as expert as some on this site. The chrome flick switch,do you know what it is for?.I personly do not like guitars that have been "modded" usually, but if it is to have P.U 1 and 3 on at the same time, like the Marvin then I think it would be acceptable ,to me anyway. There is a similar guitar on the well known auction site at this moment in time for £750,without a case,so a good buy ,as Strat Plus guitars are under valued in my opinion.Good quality American guitars at bargain prices.

HI Charlie,Did you ever do any any programmes for Rolands Gt 6 or 8.I have tried both of these units, and like them as they are very rugged and suit a group environment because of it alongside there good reliability. If you did could you make the programmes available,as per your existing products. Also, you explained once how you recorded a Buddy Holy tune, and I thought that the vocal sound was excellent.Could you not programme some Vocal patches for the Zooms,Alesis ect ect,as I us a G7 for vocal effects sometimes ,but with mixed results,as obviously my skills are nowhere near yours on this subject. It might just open up a new revenue source ,and could be of great use to those of us still play live a bit .Reguards Strat21
