Hi folk's, Here is my latest effort, my rendition of Words of love by Buddy Holly who is one of my greatest musical inspirations together with the Beatles and of course the Shads. I used the middle pup on my MIJ Strat (Kinman pups) and patch U1-2 on my Zoom G7(Man of mystery). I reduced the High's and increased the Mid's and Low's a little in Mixcraft. Hope you like it. Best wishes, Duncan. www.4shared.com/mp3/4zZIU5Li/file.html

Hi Duncan,
Nice sounds and well played. I think you could come quite a bit more forward with your lead in the mix, some of it is getting lost in the backing. I enjoyed your rendition.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, I am glad you liked it. I am not very good at balancing my sound, I don't want the lead to be too dominant and tend to be over cautious in this respect but I will make some adjustments as soon as I get some spare time. Thanks for your input. Best wishes, Duncan.

I have now rebalanced the lead. Hopefully it's about right now. Duncan.
