I've recorded 3 Shads tunes using the Zoom G3X and the updated patches from *** so that you can get an idea of how good they are.
I've recorded all 3 tunes in Audacity both direct from the G3 to the Line-In on my PC and also from the Phones socket on my amp to the PC to see if there's any difference.
I personally can't hear much difference (to me that means either that my ears are going or I've got the amp set nearly right regarding bass, treble etc ), anyway they sound good to me (ignoring any mistakes on my part).
There is no post processing, all I've done is normalise the backing and the lead and then mixed the tracks together

Atlantis played with the Bridge PU except the muted parts, Neck PU, The Stranger played with Bridge PU and Peace Pipe with the Neck PU.
Equipment:
JHS Vintage Reissued V6 Guitar as bought with all Wilkinson hardware and Elixir Nanoweb 10-46 strings (finished in red of course, the guitar that is, not the strings).
Cheapo wireless system (Harman AKG WMS 40 mini from Amazon).
Zoom G3X effects pedal with *** Hall's Updated patches. I used the Global Output setting of "Direct" for all recordings (I suppose that I should have used one of the 4 amp settings when playing through my amp but none of them sounded as good to me).
Fender Mustang 1 Amp
This was set up using the Fuse software as follows
Fender '65 Twin Reverb Bright - OFF Gain - 4 Volume - 10 Treble - 2 Middle - 8 Bass - 1
Backing Tracks - UB Hank
I must emphasise that this is not about ME and my playing but is about THE PATCHES and the sound that *** has provided. Hope you agree that they are pretty good.
