Hi Ian, Mixcraft 5 should do MIDI editing the same as 7. Its worth a try. Going back to your original question regarding the tone. You may already know it; in BIAB you can adjust the tone of individual instruments. Any way if you do this may help others. I recorded drums out of BIAB into WAV. this track is the same drums. The first half normal and the second part with a radical amount of bass added. Drum TestWhat I did is circled in the image below. The other thing you can do is adjust the "Push" and "Shot' velocity as shown in the image below. I hope this helps Viv

Hi I have a pre-recorded drum track which is fine EXCEPT that the Kick drum is way too quiet. If I just boost the track 6db, the hihat bursts your eardrums. With simple EQ only at my disposal, how could I lift the kick so its at least audible without raising the rest of the drum mix? Cheers Ian Hi Ian, I would like to have a go at "fixing' your drum track. Give me the link to it on a PM and I'll see what I can do with it. Viv

I'm with Phil C on this. I'd just add a kick drum from a keyboard......must be the simplest solution. I've done it myself by adding further sounds to live recordings with acceptable results. Regards Baz
