Hey Guys,
I have been looking into buying some proper recording gear... Now I have a Fender Strat, a zoom g2nu with eftp, and a vox pathfinder 10 plus a laptop.
I would like some help on choosing the right gear to record me playing. I would like to keep it as cheap as possible but without hearing that it has been recorded cheaply...
Please help...
Cheers Joe

Hi Joe,
Before you spend lots of money on recording equipment have you thought about using Audacity recording software? It's free to download and is used by quite a lot of the guys on here.

Hi Joe, Lots of free software out there such as Wavosaur, Ardoor, Traverso Daw, Kristal Audio Engine, I think most are free You can use a USB Audio Interface to plug guitar and effects directly to comp. Also Mic Amp and direct into Interface with other effects like EQ Ect. Unless you have a good soundcard. USB Interfaces are reasonable today. Cheers Les.
