Hi All
I think i am right in saying that Hank used the EF86 chanel for some early recordings.
Which channel does he use for the more modern stuff and for live performances.
Thanks
Alan

I remember one tour I think in 1998 Hank used the EF86 channel of his Matchless for the clean sound and the top boost channel for the overdriven sound (the overdrive coming from an ADA MP2). Every other tour I have seen he used the top boost for the clean sound. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie
What is the difference between the Top Boost channel and the EF86?

Hi Alan, The EF86 channel on a Vox doesn't have bass and treble controls, but on the Matchless DC30 EF86 channel there is a 6 way switch to control the amount of bass. Regards, Charlie
