Hi all Has Anyone changed the bridge on a classic player 50s Stratocaster I wanted to get a spare so I could have the original upgraded at VML I Asked Fender which bridge it had on it and was told it was unique to the classic player and no other would fit I asked how much for a replacement and was told We do not stock them anymore, can you believe that Thanks Mick

Try Allparts or Axes r' Us, one of them might have a generic bridge that woud fit.

Hi Mick, what's the mounting hole spacing on your bridge? I've got a complete bridge assembly from the first issue of Highway 1 Strats that might fit.

Dave from fender has had a few bridges measured and come up with one what will fit its from an American standard 1986 to 2007 . Most of the people I got in touch with at fender didn't want to look, Dave Zandvliet sorted it out . I wonder why they have so many different variations of the Same design Thanks for you're replies Mick
