Hi all. I was checking some boxes in the shed and got side tracked when I found my old vinyl record collection. 100's L/P's and 500 45's and started checking for Shadows records and found 15 L/P's and 10 45rpm's. Today I started playing them on my turntable and the first 45 was Wonderful Land, now I'm sure there is someone banging a bass drum with a steady beat of BOOM...boom boom....BOOM...boom...boom. It's not on my later cd's which has more bass guitar and no bass drum. Did they decide on a different mix for later releases This old 1962 version in mono is now my favorite, even the lead guitar sounds warmer. My turntable can record to usb or sd card so I won't wear out the record.
Cheers John.
