The geezer is talking about staggered pole pieces.....errrrrr they are all of the same height So why they got the name of 56 vintage is beyond me, because Leo's 56 originals have real staggered pole pieces The sounds demo is with a booster and a amp, aimed to get the sound of the late 60's and there's more in the sound chain not mentioned. Well according the picture posted in this thread, this red guitar is fitted with Leo's 56....but looking at the picture clearly they are all the same height!!
Apparently the demo set isn't Leo's 56 or the geezer is wrong or Leo's 56 are changed.
Sure the Leo's 56 on the link are staggered, but the "so called Leo's 56" on the video demo aren't!!! That's what I was revering to....
Presumably it's their 60 standard set on that demo, which make more sense in combo with the RMG treble booster? Strange is pole pieces of the same height isn't a 60 thing at all, Fender changed to the same pole height during 1974!
