Hi all, Back in the day (the 60s) when I first started gigging, the singer in the band was an Animals fan and we covered most of their numbers. Although 'Don't let me be misunderstood' was not a favorite of mine I did prefer the original version by Nina Simone which was much slower. I have played around with the song for a while and decided to make my own backing track (with a little help from BIAB). So here it is. If anyone would like the backing track, PM me and I will send.
That's an amazing trick you've managed Roger. I actually enjoyed listening to a number I never could stand. Faultless guitar work again, and the backing is so good I felt like the melody line was incidental. The backing did it for me, even though the lead playing was excellent it seemed like decoration.
HI Len. I hope you are well my friend You appreciation is worth everything to me. I value your critiques as I know you will say if something is not right to your ears. I moved house 8 weeks ago so have been busy doing other things besides music. I will be in touch soon.
Hi Roger, Magnificent,........... the B.T was just spot on the money, and the lead was so complementary to it I just loved that ,I know i can be a bit gushy at times, (its a girl thing) but that deserved a really good gush,
