Hi tafoon62,
Welcome to the forum. You need to say what equipment (make, model) you want the patch for.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi, If you are using the H and C then give P59 a try. I play tested this patch for the damped section near the end of the tune and it works well. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie, I tried your suggestion this morning it's great . I think Hanks guitar sound on the string of hits album is superb. Would I be wrong in saying he used a Dimarzio FS-1 pickup on his Strat in the bridge position at that time? Anyway thanks for the reply, Taff .

Hi Taff, Glad the echo works well for you. I believe Hank was using the FS-1 in the bridge position around that time onwards, until he changed to Kinman pickups in the late 90s. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie , As a newcomer to the forum, I've been looking at some older topics ,and came across one asking some questions about the Tasty album . You gave the answer there that is was the FS1 pickup used . I've had the H&C echo for about three years now and I think it's superb, but I have never been satisfied with my amp sounds . I have had a variety of amps but never been able to get a sound I liked .Well I decided to buy a Fender Tone master Deluxe reverb after seeing some good reports about it on the Shadows Community site . I have to say it's amazing , I now have the best Shads sound I have ever had , just as importantly doing justice to the fabulous H&C echo sounds . All the best , Taff.

Hi Taff, Deluxe Reverb amps are well liked for Shadows sounds. I have heard good things about the Tonemaster range but one demo I heard of the Twin Reverb version compared with a reissue Twin Reverb was not very convincing when overdriven. For clean sounds they should be very good. Regards, Charlie

Yes Charlie , I use a BOSS Blues driver pedal for some "Dirtier" sounds, myself I like the early period Shads sounds ,and the 70s with John Farrar onboard .I was never so keen on the Burns period although there was some great tracks released at the time , but my Favourite period would have to be the70s with the slightly beefier sound Hank had at the time.
