I was so sad to hear that my favourite ever guitarist, who I was always in awe of, has died today at the age of 73. What a musical genius and talent he was when he founded Fleetwood Mac and wrote and played the likes of Albatross, often imitated but never bettered

Very saddened to hear this news. Brilliant guitar player and let's not forget that voice. R.I.P. Peter.

A very sad loss indeed! When a few weeks/months ago, a "Greeny" concert was played with some of the great ones....and Peter wasn't attending. I got a strange feeling....
RIP Peter, thanks for the brilliant music!

I saw Peter Green play in Norwich around 2003/4. I felt very sad to see him shuffle onto the stage with two people supporting him. His guitar volume was set quite low and as the Rev said another guitarist did most of the playing. He was a wonderful guitarist and will be missed by so many. I was very surprised when I discovered that he composed Black Magic Woman! I - like so many others - always thought Carlos Santana composed it. Dave

Sad news indeed. My favourite track featuring Peter Green was Oh Well. RIP Peter Green. Charlie
