Good afternoon everybody
This is my first post on the site although I read with great interest the various topics at least once a day.
I have been playing this wonderful music for over 40 years and currently my main gear is a Fender FSR Stratocaster (of course in Fiesta red) through a HCSE and then split - one feed into a Vox AC15 Twin and another through a Joyo AC Tone into the PA.
Whilst I am quite happy with the AC Tone (at least until I can get one of Charlie’s EF86 Pedals), I have seen the Mooer 04 (Vox) pre amp and was wondering if anyone has used one and have any favourite settings to create a decent Hank modern sound.
Looking forward to reading and hopefully contributing more to this wonderful site.
Thanks Andy

It's your post, I think you can probably change the title. It looks like no-one can help you anyway. Are you sure the Joyo's not enough? It's a well made clone of a Tech 21 Liverpool pedal, and by using the Voice control (in conjunction with the Tone and Drive) you can recreate the tones from early Vox right through a modern sound up to Brian May's tone.

Thanks Len. I do like the Joyo and have several in the studio but am always keen to explore anything new that may emulate the Vox tone, at least until Charlie’s new Pedal is released. Just found a source for another The Shadows amplifier badge so will probably spend my pocket money on that!!😀
Thanks for your reply Len Andy
