Hi THere AS I did not know the story behind Mesa Boogie, I searched for that. I came upon this youtube clip..have a look: youtu.be/FBMytvdPFQM Sheendigs Interesting video….I used Mesa Boogie for about 20 years in my gigging years….MK3, MK4 and finally the best rig…Quad Preamp, Simul Class 295 power amp and a pair of EVM 12L boogie cabs….all in stereo from my effects rack….. Superb gear, great sound and very reliable….downsides?….expensive and heavy ….. Those were the days……Fender Deluxe Reverb Tonemaster on its way….at least I will be able to pick it up !!!!

Hi Paul I had a look at the demo for Fender Deluxe Reverb Tonemaster. Nice sound..volume wattage can be changed up to 100 Watts..and very low weight. Very Nice Sheendigs

I used a MKIV for many years, probably the loudest amp I've owned, great sound but like Paul, the downside is, expensive and very heavy, also, too many controls and the push/pull knobs add to this, you can get really lost when trying to get the sound you want as there's too many variations, when you think you're done, there's almost the same on the back!

Hi Paul I had a look at the demo for Fender Deluxe Reverb Tonemaster. Nice sound..volume wattage can be changed up to 100 Watts..and very low weight. Very Nice Sheendigs That's 100 digital watts Sheendigs, designed to give the same volume as the 22 watt valve version. They've apparently made a fine job of it though, that and the Twin Reverb Tonemaster. I'd have the Deluxe Reverb like a shot if the price was better, unfortunately it's almost as expensive as the real thing. Len

In my opinion, I have found that keeping things simple is the best way, all these gadgets, switches, knobs, aircraft landing lights have to be paid for, it’s better to spend the money on the quality, we’re it’s needed most. Being a once HI-FI nut, you could tell a good amplifier, it had On & Off switch, treble bass, Volume, that was it. Pete

I enjoy his channel the most tones from the least amount of gear, as opposed to that pedal show the least tone from the most very expensive gear haha Matthew
