Hi all! Here’s a totally outfield song suggestion for the Shadows sound kinda treatment. It’s “Graduation” by Jan Cyrka and Jamie Humphreys.
Superb playing - yes - ok - with singing overdriven guitar, fabulous rapid scalicular approach to some of the fills, BUT just drill through the singing sustain, and there’s a Shads type of tune just eminently convertible to clean AC30 with maybe a Wonderful Land echo patch??
There’s a bit where a high end harmoniser appears to be used too.
What do others think?? Stay safe y’all !

Hi milko, Do you have a link that doesn't involve me having to buy it to give an opinion?
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Chris If you use YouTube and type in Graduation Jan Cyrka it picks it up after the letter ‘k’ and shows Graduation by Jan Cyrka and Jamie Humphreys. There’s 2 v short ads before the tune. All the best, Milko

This is the better way than having to do a lot of typing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh1M14qIoh4I like it and would have a go at recording it if I had the score, but its not the kind of guitar music that sits well here Mike.

Hi milko, I rather like Jan Cyrka's sound and I don't think those fast runs in this particular tune would translate very well using a Shadows type sound...Mike, but would love to hear you playing it if you ever do get the score (the score was nil-nil at half time I think).
Kind regards,
Chris
