Purely FYI; It’s quite surprising that shopping around for a brand new Vox AC30 C2 and retro fitting new British Celestion ‘Blue’ speakers, is just as cheap as buying a 2nd hand C2X (with Chinese ‘Blue’ speakers), with the (say) £80 diesel cost of collection. (I’m definitely not suggesting either country of manufacture is superior or inferior in any way.) One can also factor in the income from selling the brand new Greenback speakers from the amp, after retro fitting the new Blues. (30 minutes easy job) It’s not handwired of course, but with care no worries, and looks the part.(‘Correct’ colour!!) As iconic as a Fiesta Red Strat! (Currently DV247 at Romford, for example, sell the C2 at £745 with free delivery.)

Well noticed! Milko. Vox AC30 C2 greenback 745 £ Vox AC30 C2X alnico blue 1258 £
If you really want the Alnico blue C2X version ( Chinese ) you pay 513 £ more with Vox….. You find easily in the UK the Alnico Blue UK made for 195 £ each ( when buying 2 pcs ) So total amount = 390 £ . But then you have still those 2 brand new Greenbacks recovered for sale !
I have the Vox AC15 C2 . There is no C2X version . But I bought 2 UK alnico blue and sold the Greenbacks.
