I just scored a Zoom G3 that is in excellent shape. I have not had much time with it, but for the age of this pedal it seems to be pretty good in the effects dept. I have not looked at all the effects in there, but seems to be a boat load.
Any thoughts on this pedal?
I got it for the princely sum of $99.00 dollars, off of Reverb and it was in fact in excellent shape.

If you want pre programmed effects go here (I think they are still available).
These are some demos that I posted about 8 years ago. I hope they're still available.

Excellant piece of kit. I set my Dad up with one ten years back and built him his echo patches. A friend of mine is using the same patches on a G3 for his Shadows playing.
I have a Helix. IMO, it's no better at doing the echoes than the G3 is.

Thanks for the votes of confidence. I was hoping this was a great older piece of gear, and glad to hear it is. I am still experimenting with the factory patches, but when my talent deserves it, I probably will get the Shadows patches for it.
I am an older guy, will be 75 in a couple of months and have always loved the Shadows, Ventures and Duane Eddy. I hope I can at least get good enough to play a few tunes before it is too late. LOL
Many thanks, Mike
