Hi Charlie,
Just got this tune 'under my skin'. What settings are recommended - let's say for the Magic Stomp - for the last repeated sections of the melody? I don't seem to get the echoes correct - especially for the last repeated bars.

Hi Soren,
There isn't a program on the Magicstomp that has the exact tempo. U26 would probably come the closest.
You could also try this:
Copy program U27 (RE301 M1) to a spare location in the editor program, then adjust the time on page one to around 180ms, and also adjust the feedback until you hear the number of repeats you want. Save those settings to that new patch.
Regards,
Charlie

Hi Soren & Charlie,
We play this number in the band, I use 08 on the magicstomp and 09 on the Q2, and it really sounds quite authentic with my Jap HBM, however it does not sound quite the same with my Johnson or another Tex Mex Strat, so I figure the result will definitely be affected by the guitar response.
I will also try your U26 this Friday Charlie, would be nice to get it even closer.
Regards
Steve.

Hi Charlie & Steve,
Thanks for your feedbacks. I'll try it out with the Magicstomp. Anyone have an idea about the Q20 with J-patches (sorry don't have Charlies set for the Q20)?

Hi Soren!
You have started something. This is a really catchy tune, which definitely grows on you.
Hi Steve!
I tried "playing alongside" the original with my Classic 50's Start and the Magic Stomp. U26 DEFINITELY sounds closer the U08 (although that sounds pretty good.) I haven't tried playing around with U27 as Charlie suggested as 26 sounded so good. Would like to hear if anybody does "tweak" this setting, as I definitely want to learn this tune.

Hi Kevin,
Indeed a catchy tune.
It's been in the back of my head for many years, and then I - by sheer luck - bought a particular backing CD and sheet music/tabs (Ian McCutcheon and Tony Clout - great helpers to all of us wanting to immitate Hank - dreams).
'Another Night' was on the CD, and that really knocked me off the chair.
