Hi All, Its a tune I used to play lead and harmony not as a duet but as a solo (is that a singlet? ;D) I slightly changed the rhythm of the lead line at around 32 seconds and 1 min 40, simply because I prefer it that way . Settings, Zoom G2.1u with Charlies ETFP Patch A8, Class A amp ON, tone 9 mix 52. www.4shared.com/file/144618023/36294fc0/TFAFP.htmlKind regards grip

Hi Grip, sorry to have to tell you that a singlet is the string vest that Rab C wears, usually smelling of fish. I think you call it using double stops? Very nice mate, well played!

A tune me and a mate used to play together sooo long ago now.
After hearing you fine rendition I really must record this with the modern gear I have now unlike, my old Teac 4 track in the days of steam.
Well played
Mike

Hi Fred, Jim,Charlie, Olemuso, Len and Shadfan4, Thanks all for taking the time to listen, I'm really pleased you liked it, its another one I had to brush a lot of dust off to play I don't like the idea of a singlet smelling of fish, so I guess it must be called a troublet. ;D Kind regards grip

Hi Grip! Played very well this crispy tune! Enjoyed your airy guitaring (at a rather difficult tune). Good general sounding, excellent guitar tone! regards Agoston

Great playing/fairly stomps along.
It's a track I've never got around to learn amongst others ;D.I'm gonna have to pull out all my old Shadows L.P's

Hi grip, I find myself now semi-retired and my plan was like you to catch up on tracks I'd missed out on,I now suffer from arthritis in both my hands and right elbow so stick with it, good luck to you. I'm starting now to post some of my soundfiles. Cheers, Shindig

Hi Shindig, I hope your arthritis isn't so bad as to stop you playing I look forward to hearing more of your playing I've just finished listening to your Adios Muchachos, and found it very enjoyable. Playing the guitar is the whole of my retirement plan , so if any health problems other than what I currently have crop up that affect my ability to (try and) play, I'm completely snookered. My sights are set a little beyond shadows style, I love playing ad lib blues stuff too. Kind regards, grip
