Hi pacman,
Nice to see you managed to get your file posted after all your efforts. You play this quite well, there's a missed notes or two, (or artistic interpretation ;D) and some slides and use of tremolo arm will help it all gel a bit more. Its the first time I've heard a yamaha pacifica, you got quite a reasonable tone with it.
I look forward to hearing more from you.
Kind regards,
grip

Hi Pacman, It sounds really nice, although the original has a less trebly and warmer tone. Regards, Charlie

Thanks Grip for your kind comments yes it was far from perfect I know but I do have trouble with the joints on my little and forth fingers which do give trouble from time to time, the Pacifica was not set up at the time the tremolo was locked down. I bought it s/h but I intend to fit it with some Tonerider p/ups sometime I've now got a MIM Stratocaster which is a lovely guitar and the neck is 43mm the Pacifica is 40mm which does feel cramped compared to the Fender. Thanks once again for your constructive comments. Regards Pacman

Hi Charlie Thanks for the kind comments, the p/ups on a Yamaha Pacifica are pretty basic once I get my G2 and my strat up and running things should improve I used Audacity to record it Many thanks Pacman

Hi colljaw Thanks for the comments the Yamaha Pacifica 112v is a lovely guitar alder body nice bridge and tremolo it has a humbucker at the bridge with a split coil stays in tune the only thing thats lets it down is the p/ups but as they are selling new for around the £200 mark I cant complain the finish is first class I only bought one because after playing back in the 60's I did'nt know if I could still play, I took it up again about 18 months ago. Regards David
