Hi everyone, after freeze framing the DVD of Cliff and the Shadows recent concert at the O2, I was hoping that someone may be able to help with any knowledge on Hanks tremolo arm, if you look at it, its been bent down first and then bent back to run parallel with the strings, to do this the actual rod would have to be longer, does anyone know if this is available commercially or was the arm custom made for him?
Many Thanks, Bob.

Hello Bob,
Yes, this is called an Easy-Mute Tremolo Arm and it is available commercially. But the price is, in my opinion, ridiculously high.
regards, Piotrek

I very recently bought an Easy-Mute from Ian at www.easymute.freeserve.co.uk/ delivered very quickly to Australia and I am delighted with it. I even bought the De-Luxe knob with it. When you consider that there is most likely a very small production volume for these I think that the cost is not at all high. Very good quality and service IMO. Regards, Dave.
