Hi was messing about with Audacity & eTAP2 VST, was using a Vox VT30 plugged direct into the PC, then applied the effect afterwards, backing track was from Gorans site, see if you think the echo's sound original, song is not correct (I know) just learning. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZlTchsdXpM

Hi, Your dry guitar guitar signal is panned left while the echo is panned centre. You need to pan the guitar to the centre so it is panned in the same place as the echo to properly hear whether the echo is right. I think the echo might be close, but does sound like there is too much high end on the echo signal. Regards, Charlie

I agree with Charlie re: imaging but the effort should be more into learning the tune. As you say you are learning but a good listen to the original or if you can read the music is needed to get the melody right.
Welcome to this forum you will get lots of help here if you want it.
Mike.

Hi Michael,
Welcome to the site, you are well on your way with what you have posted here. If you have the shadows soundtrack I respectfully suggest that you play along to it, over and over again, this way you will get a good feel for the timing and the correct notes. Stick with it, you are doing OK.
Kind regards,
Chris
