Hi All, I've seen it mentioned a few times, that 'The Stranger' was probably recorded on the middle pickup rather than the bridge pickup as was originally thought. Below is my rendering, recorded on the middle pickup. I personally don't like the sound at all. maybe it's the way I have my equipment set up. 1979 US Strat: Strings 10's, tones set to 10 Yamaha MagicStomp: Charlie's patch U02 Amplifier: Roland Cube 30X, Bass 30%, Middle 75%, Treble 60% Backing track fed into AUX input of amplifier. Resultant output taken from the 'Phones/Recorder' output and fed into a BOSS MICRO BR digital recorder (where mp3 was generated). What do you think? Any comments welcome. www.4shared.com/audio/o1Zr-D1B/Stranger.htmlKind regards Roger
