Aloha from Hawaii, A couple of days ago my friend Johnny Waller and I (Peter Anderson) recorded this favourite old song "Sukiyaki" I played lead guitar with my Telecaster attached to a Magistomp pedal using Charlie's programming. www.4shared.com/audio/XNNcj0-8/Sukiyaki.htmlMy friend Johnny Waller played the flute melody as well as the backing tracks using his Yamaha arranger keyboard. Well, all I can say is we enjoyed making our version of this song and hope you would like it too. Regards from the Big Island of Hawaii. Peter Anderson kaupete.blogspot.com

Hi Peter,
A nice rendition of this lovely old tune, I haven't heard it for many years. It's nice to hear the flute complimenting the guitar. Nice sounds between you.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Peter, Nice version. Good sound and well played. The somewhat thicker tone of the Tele compared to a Strat is evident. Regards, Charlie

Hi Dick, Thanks for asking, here is the other melody we recorded on that same afternoon, another old favourite called "Unchained Melody". www.tiny9.com/u/Unchained_MelodyI drove over to my friend house to show him my new toy, a Tascam Pocketstudio DP-008 which records to an SD card. We decided to test it by recording those two songs. Although a small recorder, this gadget produces CD quality audio. It's an 8 track recorder, however only 2 tracks can be recorded at a time. We recorded the backing tracks first then used that accompaniment to record our melodies. Just thought that this may be of interest to fellow musicians looking for a small relatively inexpensive portable recorder. Regards, Peter

Hi Scott,
Will look forward to your visit in November and yes, will do some musical jamming. I found a fiesta red strat (looks orange?) it needed a bit of attention but I believe I now have it in shape.
Regards,
Peter
