Taking out pictures & avatars -- GREAT!

I agree that the little avatars are cute (especially mine!! but after a while they tend to become distracting. Also, I have discovered that the avatars and pictures add too much bulk to the message boards. So I went to my profile and said "no" to the show avatars and show pictures boxes, and to my great surprise, everything became kind of more compact and neater and much more like the old MSN boards we are used to.

I wanted to share this with you. At least try it . . . I think you will be pleasantly surprised!!!

Aw, I like my little gremlin ( now with guitar ) Also it does give the chance to speed thro' the posts and recognise the avatar. if it's a vote , they have mine :-)

I think you have misunderstood me. This is not a vote. It's not a group facility either. It's a totally personal option in our profiles. It's like choosing whether you want your age, gender, or email to be seen or not . . . so, it's no big deal . . . I only mentioned this because some people may not know that the option exists.
