I tried posting a sound file using IE7 each time I tried to post after logging in I had to put in a security check I gave up and tried using my normal firefox and suprise, there was my post with no name except the title as the name of the poster ie"Man of Mystery"
I am deleting this and trying again.
I have now realised I cant delete the post as I dont know where to log in.

The post I refer to is in the sound file section "Man of Mystery" with the name of the poster "Man of Mystery" Guest.
WHAT I meant by logging in was each time I logged in and hit the "Post" button I was returned to the log in with the email, I presume security check to put in random letters and numbers after logging in 3 times with the same result I gave up and then found what you see on the sound files as Man of Mystery GUEST
The reply I posted to my own post was to hopefully clear up the confusion who the "Man of Mystery" was.
I dont recall saying simply "I posted and it isnt there"
I dont know how my "sound file doesnt exist anywhere on the site" as I am looking at it.
This only happened using IE7 beacause as you know you cannot post URLs that work using Firefox.
How the site let me post as a guest I do not know, I have since tried again to recreate this using IE7but I cannot so its a "Mystery"
PS I did not have this problem on "Shadows Music club Perth" using IE7 so I dont know how this happened.

Hi Mike, Just a thought to make sure when you login that you have actually logged in .. if IE7 is supplying your password it may be wrong or not supplied before you hit the login button. Sounds like for whatever reason you were not actually logged in and your persistence in trying to post as a guest has perhaps found a little bug ?
Another advantage of this site is that making active links is no longer an issue, they work with any browser. I would suggest you try Apple's Safari. In my experience better even than Firefox and of course we won't even bother to include IE. In this my sentiments are exactly with Ron's ! George

I wish I could help but I can only say that the advice already given is better than anything I could do. Regards, Charlie

Hi Kevin, Thanks for that. I started using Safari when the MSN sites were slowing down and it was a huge improvement in speed. The only downside is the lack of extensions as in Firefox, so I swap between them depending on what I want to do. Now if it just had an extension like Firefox to stop those annoying flash adds. Must say though I do like the Safari look now I'm used to it. The emphasis is on the web page itself and not the browser controls. regards George
