I have just been looking through some of the posts on the EFTP section and noticed an advert at the top for UB Hank Backing CD's on the well known auction site, one of which was UB Hank no 6, I thought they stopped at 5 ?. Reading the track list it appears someone has combined UB Hand 5 and Casting a Shadow and called it UB Hank 6 which is being advertised on this site.
Not sure if this is 'kosher' so thought I should point it out to the site administrator.

Yes Glen,it is not a rip off.
Look at the ads at the top of this page,it is advertised there.

I know its advertised above, thats my point !
I have looked at Leo's Den and can't find a UB Hank Vol 6, as far as I am aware they finished at vol 5.

Mustang Music, who are I believe the main agents for the UB Hank series have CD6 on their site. So I would guess it is genuine. £16.99 if you're interested.

Ron I would like to make it clear I don't beleive Charlie or anyone connected with this great site would do anything not above board. Having purchased the complete UB Hank series and Casting a Shadow CD, I understood the project ended with UB Hank 5 and was just concerned with piracy issues ( I repeat nothing to do with this site). Having done a Google serach of UB Hank 6 I have found there is an official version combining the DELETED ?? version 5 and Casting a Shadow so find I have to eat humble pie. I was just concerned of Piracy issues being inadvertently advertised on Charlies web site. Why was version 5 deleted  Glen |

Glen - You can also get the Marvin Mastertrax set, The Shadows Workout set, there is "UB Hank and other heroes", and they are all genuine.

Glen, I think I'm right in saying that CD5 was not deleted, they simply sold all the copies they had had made.
Gary Taylor over on the Perth Shadows site may still have original copies if you're after one.

I understood that UB5 was produced by Patrick Terrett. The previous 4 were produced by Hank's studio, which of course includes Gary Taylor.

Although it shows it there, Vol 5 has been sold out for a long time.
When I tried to get a copy from both Mustang and Leo's Den, I was advised to contact Gary Taylor in Oz who was the only person who had any copies left.
