I am in the lucky position to own three amplifiers, Fender Twin Reverb 1976 with Orange basket JBL's, Fender Sidekick Reverb 25w 8" speaker, and a fairly new AC15cc1X (with "Blue Speaker").
I am considering offloading the lot and getting an AC15H1 TV model.
Would this amp go some way towards "That Sound" we all strive for?
I would also like to get some sort of power soak like a Marshall Power Brake or THD or similar, to be able to get the amp to work hard without upsetting the neighbours.
comments and advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Mike.

Apart from the odd fault, usually to do with valves, the AC15 should be good for all the sounds for Hank and Shadows. Apart from the power soaks mentioned, have a look at Ted Weber's MASS boxes. www.tedweber.com/ for the home page and www.tedweber.com/atten.htm for the attenuators. Bear in mind that part of the sound is with the speaker working hard so using an attenuator will change that. Regards, Charlie
