Hi guys, You started very interesting thread here calymarvin, which has produced some very informative comment, inparticular from Tony and Lars. I thought that it may help if I posted a sound flie here of a tune played on my C/Shop 56 NOS with the Seymour Duncan SSL1 NECK p/up. I hope it is of some use to those who have never heard the sound of this p/up before. www.4shared.com/audio/d8aM7_K2/TLW.htmlThis has been played through a V-Amp Pro with Tony's C4 programme and recorded with Mixcraft. Hi Clive, Which pickup do you have in the bridge position? Any chance of a similar ballad-type recording using this?
Also be interested to hear of anyone using the Kinman FV-HMS set - these are the ones specifically promoted as Hank Marvin pickups with Avn-63 in neck and middle and Avn-64 in bridge position. They're expensive so I wondered if they're worth it.
Cheers, Martyn
