I have seen it discussed somewhere but a search on this site for "echohead" produced only the messages in this thread. I have never seen or tried one myself. Regards, Charlie

Hi, I have an Echohead and I like it very much. I have to say that I don´t like the Shadowsland echoes for this pedal but it´s quite easy to get some nice results tweaking a bit. We had a gig last summer and just a few minutes before starting the power supply of my Yamaha UD Stomp burned and I had to use this pedal. The final result wasn´t bad at all. You can listened to it in a video in my site panchodiaz.multiply.com/ look for the video Fiesta en La Escribana

Hi, I too have an echohead pedal which I bought off the well known auction site for about £35. It is good as a standby unit in case of problems as it is small - only the size of a normal pedal - so will actually fit in the pocket of a guitar case or gig bag. There are no presets but it is easy to twiddle the knobs and get a half decent echo sound. It can also be battery powered but tends to eat batteries (at least mine does) Sorry don't have any sound files to demo. Ideal if you want to travel light, but wouldn't choose as my main echo. A Yamaha Magicstomp, at double the size is better, but no battery option. Regards, Dave

A friend of mine bought the EchoHead at my recommendation and he is very satisfied. He uses several all-purpose settings that "nail" the Shadows sound quite satisfactorily.
In fact, there are some Shadows presets for the EchoHead and I have them. Send me your email address if you are interested . . .

Hi Stuart, I have edited your email address so that it is not easily read by spammers. This site can be viewed by anyone, and not just members. Regards, Charlie

Hi Bojan, Yes there are several published settings for the echohead on different sites, perhaps what I should have made clear was that they are set by twiddling the knobs, you cannot just change by pushing a button like magicstomps or zooms etc. Regards, Dave

I'm not doing too well here. The Shadowsland settings are the only ones I know of, but I have seen those same settings in various threads on other sites over the past year or so - but I can't remember which sites. So, what I meant was that there are several settings for different Shadows tunes and those same settings have appeared on different sites in various threads. To me they are settings, not presets. I consider a preset to be a setting that is stored and recalled at the push of a button. Sorry if there was any confusion. Regards, Dave.
