Hello Charlie,
As you know, I possess two Magic Stomps - the first was loaded with Geoff Strachan's echo patches, and the second, pre-used, was loaded with yours.
There appear to be some "vintage" characteristics to yours, mainly a sense of wow or flutter, especially to patch number 10.
It's been designated in the listing, amongst others, for "Spring is nearly Here", and having listened carefully to the original recording, I am convinced that it is possible to emulate the "warble".
I haven't yet studied the graphic representations of your patches on my pc, so I don't know if they incorporate this effect - although I have looked at the previous patches.
However, I haven't noticed any facility for introducing anything other than the taps, timings etc.
Am I imagining things, or did you find a way of adding this "wobble" to the echo settings?
I'm intrigued to know - even if I'm totally wrong !!
Cheers for now,
David JM

Hi David,
My patches do emulate the "wow" effect. It is done with the modulation feature. It took me some time to figure out that setting the same modulation to each tap was the wrong thing to do.
Regards,
Charlie

Excellent, Charlie - well done!!
I wonder how many others appreciate the work that's gone into your patches.
I'm now off to have a look at the pictures..........
Kind Regards,
David.

Hi David,
Thank You, thank you, thank you. Do you know for months now I have misread the patch number for Spring is Nearly Here as U12 (no I'm not dyslexic - although I'm beginning to wonder.) I have now tried it with U10, and what a difference!. That'll teach me to read things more closely.

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your remarks following your "Road to Damascus moment" !
Dyslexia Rules, KO?
Although Charlie and others have gone to a great deal of trouble to generate the programmed patches, I like to experiment as well. However, there are some which are absolutely ideal, and the use of U10 for "Spring is........" is a good example.
Glad to have inadvertantly been of help !!
Cheers.
