Have you any suggestions on how to get "more air" (a bit like the TVS does) out of the Alesis Q2?
Thanks in advance,
Erik.

Hi Charlie,
will you be doing something similar for the Q20 for non-EEC use. If not how does the Q2 compare to the Q20 using your settings?
Thanks Peter

Hi Peter,
Not yet for the Q20. It could be a few years, I'll have to see what happens.
The Q2 sounds very similar to the Q20.

Charlie

Hi Charlie.
I'm a bit worried now about the : "non EEC-users"!
I live in Denmark - will I not be able to buy your EFTP-program?
Regards,
Erik.

I thought Denmark was part of the EEC. Anyway, that won't affect the new programs I will be writing for the Q2.

Charlie

Cheers, Lionel

The Quad Plus and Quad GT files will be available or £50 if sent by email.
I stopped programming these a long time ago and that is still the case, but I have now decided that the files can be made available to those who are interested in them.

Charlie

More money than sense? Did anyone see that this Quad GT went for £359!! (the well known auction site Item No.250199346923). A decent GT goes for around £120-£160 so when you add Charlie's £50 for the patches it's only £210 tops!
Cheers, Lionel

The same sort of thing happened with a Q20 on the well known auction site not so long ago. It fetched around £800. I believe it wasn't even genuine EFTP programmed as far as I remember.
EFTP originally sold Q20's new and ready programmed for £769!

Charlie

Hi Charlie,
Talking about exspensive Q20's I have a NOS Q20 that I paid £600 for!! I spoke to you about programming it in December, and you said to contact you about mid Jan.
I already have a Q20 programmed by you. Also I had two Q2's programmed by you about a year ago. I have since sold one of the Q2's and I shall be selling the other one when I get my new Q20 programmed. I also said I thought my Q20 was
noisy and you said to bring that with me when I come up with the new one and you would have a listen.
Do I hold the record for a single person to have the most QUADS. programmed by you? if so doe's it win any 'Brownie' points??
Could you let know when it suits you for me to come up please?
Regards,
Baz.
P.S. If anyone is interested in the programmed Q2 I have
for sale you can contact me by E-mail:
barry.palmer8943@btinternet.com
The Q2 was only kept as a backup and as such has only had home use.

Hi Barry,
I am home from France so I could look at your Q20 fairly soon. There is no queue at the moment.
Not sure whether Brownie points could convert to cash! We'll have to think about it.

Charlie
